YOUR DETAILS, TREATED WITH CARE
Privacy information
Draft for parent review. Booking requests remain closed until the parent approves the launch policies.
What we collect
Your name, mobile number, email, suburb, requested dates and times, and pet-care details are used to review your request, prepare your quote and arrange care. Exact addresses, emergency contacts, vet details and agreed access arrangements are collected privately before a confirmed visit. When you sign a quote, we keep your typed name, acceptance time, agreed amount and terms, and submitted contact details. Uploaded proofs of payment and the parent’s payment review are held privately with the booking.
A meet-and-greet request is kept separately from a care booking. We use your contact details, suburb, pet notes and preferred meeting time to arrange an introduction. If you choose to continue after the meeting, the parent can reuse those details to help prepare your care request. The same retention schedule applies to completed or cancelled meetings.
Who can access your information
Addison and the parent managing the business use the information needed to provide care. Booking records are held in the private parent dashboard. When you contact us through WhatsApp, that conversation is also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.
Animal cards and visit updates
Private animal cards contain the care routines you provide and optional animal photographs. You can update these details immediately for Addison’s next visit. Visit reports record care, arrival and departure times, notes and optional photographs. Images are stored privately and are only available through authorised access.
We send animal-details invitations and visit links through our n8n and EvolutionAPI messaging services. Separate private links allow animal editing or read-only diary access. Anyone you forward a link to can use its permissions. Links normally expire 30 days after the final scheduled appointment and can be withdrawn by the parent.
Addison’s login and private photo access use essential session cookies. The visit app requires an internet connection and does not retain private offline drafts. Please download photographs you want to keep before your diary link expires.
Cookies and tracking
The parent login uses an essential, eight-hour session cookie. After signing a quote or opening a payment link, an essential seven-day cookie lets you return to your private payment page on the same device. The public website does not use advertising analytics or marketing cookies.
We use self-hosted Umami to understand public page visits, page performance and successful care or meeting requests. Analytics events exclude contact details, form answers, private links and URL query strings. The parent dashboard, visit app, client portal and quote pages are excluded.
Sampled session replays and click or scroll heatmaps help us improve the home, privacy and service terms pages. Text and inputs are masked. Booking and meeting forms are not recorded, and recording is disabled on pages opened with query strings. Public page links load a new page so recording cannot continue into private areas. We honour your browser’s Do Not Track setting. You can also disable tracking on this browser by setting the local storage entry umami.disabled to 1.
Retention and your choices
We retain information while a request or booking is active. Completed and cancelled records are reviewed for removal under the parent’s retention schedule, initially 12 months. Backup copies may remain until they rotate out under the backup schedule. You can ask the parent to correct or remove your information, subject to any records the business needs to retain.
Contact
The parent’s business contact will be published before booking requests open. for privacy questions. Please never send passwords, alarm codes or keys through the public form.
